Prologue
Once long ago there lived a king. This king had many children, who he all loved deeply. The king also loved his castle. In his old age the kind built many halls and extensions to his castle making it more and more elaborate. The king found all the best builders in the land and the castle became quite large. One day a man named Kaul came to the king and explained that he was but a poor man with little experience in building but he believed he could complete the kings castle with a great gift. He was a magician you see. And he could build the king the most beautiful, magical hall the king had ever seen. The king agreed and allowed Kaul to build the hall. But before the Kaul could finish the hall the old king passed away leaving his oldest son, Aiden, to rein in his stead. When Kaul completed the magnificent hall Aiden was pleased. He instructed Kaul to build more to the castle. Kaul, feeling he had earned his pay and that his time in the palace was over kindly explained to the new king that he would not continue to build but would take his money and leave. Aiden however had other plans. Upon Kaul's departure Aiden tricked him into stealing one of the kings most treasured cups. Aiden captured Kaul and insisted that for his crime he must work the rest of his days building more magical additions to his castle. Kaul however had now intention of building more for the selfish king. Instead he put a spell on the castle and the king that both would fall before the days of Aiden were through. Kaul passed away days later, and so started the beginning of the end for King Aiden.....
